Aircraft Maintenance Engineering : Examinations

There are two types of examinations conducted during the course

  • DGCA licence Examination
  • Semester Examinations

At the end of each semester, exam will be conducted by the Institute as per the DGCA guideline. The examination pattern includes subjective questions, MCQ type and Practical Cum Oral tests. The minimum percentage of pass marks to be secured by each student in the semester exams is 70%. Only after clearing the semester exam with the required percentage, candidates are promoted to the next semester.

It is also mandatory for the students to put in a minimum of 80% attendance in every semester to be eligible to sit for exam, and promotion to the next semester.

After all the semester exams are completed successfully by the students, the Institute forwards their application forms to Central Examination Organisation, DGCA, Govt. of India for AME licence examination. The AME licence Examination for Paper I, II and III will be conducted by DGCA thrice a year. The first one in the month of February, the second one in the month of June and the third one in the month of October every year. The minimum percentage of pass marks to be secured by each student in the DGCA licence Exam is 70%. We have an expert team that provides guidance and coaching for AME licence Examination.
